DIY Washer Bracelets
First you'll need to gather your supplies:

Ribbon  (not too thick)
Scissors
Tape
Washers (different sizes are available, so choose the size you prefer)

Measure out your ribbon and cut.  Allow a lot of extra wiggle room.

Tape the end of the ribbon to make threading easier.

Slide on your first and second washer.

Here's the tricky part:  Take the taped end of your ribbon and thread it back through the first washer.

Make sure you pull it tight.

Now, weave the taped end of the ribbon back through the second washer like a figure 8.

Thread on your third washer.  Weave the taped end of the ribbon back through the second washer.  Then weave it back through the third washer making another figure 8 and pulling the ribbon tight.  Continue this pattern until you've gotten the desired number of washers on your bracelet.

Trim the excess ribbon and tie around your wrist.

Voila.  Washer bracelets.  This can be adapted to a necklace if you'd like.

Glitter Keys Tutorial
with Amanda & Brittany

Glitter Key Inspiration from My Oh My and Glitter Everything Inspiration from I Am Style-ish

Step 1:  Gather and clean your keys.  We wiped ours down with nail polish remover, but rubbing alcohol or good ol' soap and water should work, too.  Make sure they are completely dry before moving onto step 2.

Step 2:  Brush glue onto one side of the key.  We used Elmer's school glue and old paintbrushes.  {On one of the keys we ended up having to wipe off the glue and use clear nail polish for this step because the glue wasn't sticking to the smooth surface of the key.}

Step 3:  Sprinkle on the glitter.  Shake, shake, shake.  Shake, shake, shake.  Shake your glitter!  {Hint:  Lighter color glitters don't show mistakes and missed areas quite as much as the darker color glitters do.}

Step 4:  Let it dry.

Step 5:  Turn the key over and repeat steps 2-4.  You may need a second coat of glue and glitter on each side.  If so, repeat steps 2-5.  Then, let it dry!

Step 6:  After the glue is completely dry, shake off the excess glitter.  Brush on 1 to 2 coats of clear polish per side.  Do one side at a time and let the polish completely dry between coats.

Voila!  Easy to identify glitter keys!

Okay so this is where y'all come in. Link up any DIY post you've done and we will pick a winner who will receive the DIY that will be featured next month!!
