It's OK

.. That I have all intentions to blog everyday but it doesn't happen. I just don't have the energy.

.. That Im exhausted because I've been driving FAR back and forth to the Doctor everyday for antibiotic shots.

.. That I am so proud of the fact I bought FAR 10 outfits and 2 shirts at an awesome Consignment sale #thriftynotcheep

.. That FAR has 2 BFFs like his momma #babyj #KP

This past weekend was a very exciting time for my little family. A lot of you don't know this but we live with my mother-in-law. AND grandmother-in-law. I love them both very much but when they told us last month they were going out of town I got very excited. We had a whole weekend to just be a FAMILY of 3! This does not happen often and we took full advantage!!! 

Friday night we went to the grocery store and got the stuff we needed to have some people over Saturday and the stuff i'm making for thanksgiving. We also picked up a family favorite for dinner: Kroger brand 6 cheese spaghetti sauce on top of Angel hair pasta. I craved this when I was preggo and I was wanting some (my MIL and GIL have to have meat in their spaghetti so I can't make it when they are here) and Fletcher tore it up. I wonder if he remembered it coming through his umbilical cord? ;) 

 

Saturday Fletch and I hung out at home while RB worked. He got off at 2 and we cleaned up outside and moved the fire pit to the patio area and blew the leaves off and my bestie and her family came over for "friendsgiving" We sat around, ate appetizers, talked, and roasted marshmallows for S mores. Yum!

Sunday I went to church and heard the most wonderful message on healing, (Want some healing? PLEASE click here and watch this. Trust me on this & Thank me later)  and then made the drive to Loganville to babysit KP so Michelle and D could go to a funeral. I love getting our boys together to play. KP calls FAR "baby FAR" even though FAR is almost as big as KP! (FAR is 17 months, KP is almost 4!)

Dear Mountain Weekend: After 3 months of planning, anticipating, and being overly excited you are finally here. Yay!! Dear RB: I can't wait for some rest, relaxation, and not having to chase a toddler for 48 whole hours! Dear FAR: Mommy and Daddy will miss you, but I know you will have fun with your Aunt KK and Uncle G. Dear Bestie: So excited we finally get to hang out and have bestie time. It's been far far too long... Dear GPC: If you are going to hire online instructors to instruct us, make sure they know how to do their jobs. We meet the deadlines or we get penalized... they don't meet their deadlines to us and it ticks me off!!

Weekend Update

I hope y'all's weekend was as good as mine! Seriously, This one goes down in the record books!! 


Friday I got to hang out with one of my favorite people. My cousin Brit over @ Confessions of a PinAholic started her new blog! And we sat down and played with out blogs for 8 hours!! She designed her blog herself and helped me with the few changes I did. She's going to design a new blog design for me (for free! love her) in the next few weeks so be on the lookout. And while your not busy, go check her out and love her like I do! 


Saturday We went to my BFF's for her hubby's surprise birthday dinner complete with a Taco bar and zombie cupcakes! On the 4th of July her oldest Danielle tricked me by telling me she was going to spray whip cream in my mouth and squirted on my face instead so I decided to be so sweet and give her some pay back! 

 Sunday I got to cuddle with some sweet sweet babies in the church nursery with some sweet sweet ladies then came home to do some cleaning before VBS Family Fun night @ ECC Have I ever told you how much I LOVE my church family? Because I do! Tonight they started out with some worship and I got to watch a 12 year old lead worship in a room full of people. That was a praise Jesus moment! Then Fletch got to play in a bouncy while I talked to one of my dearest friends I haven't had a conversation with in I cant even tell you when.

Weekend Update

My amazing, wonderful, awesome husband let me sleep until 10:45... with that being said, it's 1:30PM on Monday afternoon and I am just sitting down at the computer. This weekend was CRAZY! So for the first time, i'm linking up for.... 

On SATURDAY I spent the morning cooking and baking! I made a Crock Pot lasagna, Carrot Cake bars with homemade cream cheese icing, and Oatmeal raisin cookies! My bestie Michelle & her family, my momma, RB's momma & Nanny, and my brother Andy and his family came over for an Italian night. and it was sooo yummmy! With everything I made we also had 2 kinds of Manicotti, Salad, Garlic Bread, and Brownies! And since it was a million degrees here, we set up Fletch's kiddie pool & sprinkler and the kiddos had some FUN! 

 

 Fletcher took a break from playing to cut grass...

 

On SUNDAY we went as a family to church (wahoo!) and then went to Michelle's for lunch and hung out. Then we went to the Lazer Show @ Stone Mountain Park! 

 

 

 

 

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

The Lazer Show is the coolest thing. And Fletcher  LOVED IT. I was worried about him with the fireworks but he was mesmerized!
