On my Heart...

You may have noticed i've been a little absent via twitter, facebook, and the blog world. I have been completely bombarded. swamped. crazed. with life lately.  In order to survive i've needed to make a few changes in my life recently. 

No more paid sponsors. Paid sponsors= pressure. Pressure to make sure blog posts are written, giveaways are maintained, and sponsor stuff is written. Right now I cannot handle it. Maybe after the first of the year, but we'll see. But I am always open to swapping ;)

The other day I came to a realization that I was trying to get everything done on a schedule. Make sure FAR is taken care of. Make sure school work is done. Make sure the kitchen is spotless before bed. I was forgetting the biggest part of my agenda. 

Playtime. I've been trying to make sure everything gets done, but I've forgotten to sit down and play with my little guy. So last night I went to bed with dishes in the sink, school work that didn't get done, and a full heart from playing and snuggling with the cutest 17 month old in the world. 

Will you hear from me tomorrow? Probably not. But I won't abandon my wonderful blog. It's my outlet. I love the fact I have "met" each and every one of you. I have made friendships that are irreplaceable. But for now, i'm right where I need to be. 

Almost a week....

... and no blogging? I know I know i'm horrible. Everything just got so crazy! But I will be back with a complete update of the events that have happened... tomorrow. Today will be focused on school, school, and more school! I do need to say a big Congrats to Chelsea  for winning the Maybook giveaway!!

One of the best perks about blogging is FREE stuff. Go ahead and deny it if you want too but everybody loves something they don't have to pay for. So after talking to the amazing people at MayDesigns They sent me one of their awesome Maybooks to test out and I LOVE IT! 

One of my favorite parts about Maybooks are that they are bound together using a sewing machine. How neat is that? Because it's threaded together with thread the pages don't rip out... not like regular planners on a binder or in a notebook. and they are all handmade.  Is that quality or what?!!

So lets get started with 5 Random Facts (i'm going to try to think of something i've never talked about): 

• I'm very involved with my church's children's ministry. I love their values and I fully believe in what they teach (God made you, God loves you, and Jesus wants to be your forever friend!)
• I have a lot more self confidence when I have blonde hair. I don't know why, It makes me feel prettier I guess.
• Every morning I read by bible, check my email, check my facebook and check blogger. In that order. 
• 2010 was one of the craziest years in my life. I got engaged, a week later my brother died, 6 months later I got married, then I got pregnant! 
• The only way I wont bite my nails is if I have acrylic over them. So every 2 weeks I pamper myself. and I fully think I deserve it ;)

If you could live anywhere, where would you live? Wilmington, North Carolina. ALWAYS wanted to pick up and move there.  
What is your most memorable childhood memory. We had a blizard in GA in '93 and b/c we had no heat we had to go spend a few nights at the fire station (my dad was a firefighter at the time) And on the way home I was with my dad and we hit black ice and we spun around in a 360 a few times. And dad made it fun. 
What is your most favorite movie of ALL TIME? Little Mermaid. Hands down.
Which season is your favorite, and why. Fall. No extreme heat, No extreme cold, No pollen and UGA Football. 
If you could have one super power what would it be? I'd love to fly!

PS- Today's post was supposed to be about my sweet baby guy and his life lately. I was even going to dress him up and take some current photos but he is one sick baby. (I'm blogging during his much needed nap time) So look forward to that later :)

100 followers? Seriously? Thank you so much. I know you 100 (now 100+) people don't like to hear about numbers and followers, that's not why your here. So I will say Thank you, and I will move on...
