I was soooo proud of my hubby. He did amazing and shaved 2 minutes off of his time he got training. 

It was a great morning with my amazing family. Now I must go colapse and sleep for a year.

Dear Shonda Rhimes: Seriously??? Seriously!!! I have no words for you today. But thank you for the almost heart attack and for NOT killing my McDreamy last night.
Dear Husband: Thanks for doing this dishes this morning! I'm ready for 6:00 so you can be home with your family!! Dear FAR: Puuuhhhleeeeseee take a nap so you will stop being a fussy gussy! Momma loves you!

Dear Saturday: Can you please hurry up and get here so I can hang out with my BFF's and watch the hubby run his first 5k and eat pizza?
Dear Water: Can you magically start tasting like sweet tea? That big pitcher in the fridge sure looks inviting.... Dear towels: Can you hurry up and fold yourselves? Oh and put yourselves away when your done!

30 Days of..... Water?

This morning my hubby and I were eating breakfast together before he went to work and he said he was going to start drinking water all the time and asked if I wanted to do it with him. Immediately my mind starting working Coffee.... Sweet Tea.... DR PEPPER.... and I quickly responded "I'm good". Those who know me know that those 3 things keep me going daily. But after talking further and basally him peer pressuring me (He's good at that) Were going to drinking water only for 30 days. There are 2 exceptions:

1. I still keep my morning coffee while I read my bible.

2. Sweet tea at Supper. 

I am a southern born and raised. I say y'all and call everyone ma'am or sir. and I drink Sweet tea at Supper.  It's what I do. Maybe one day I will be able to change my ways but for now, I'm stubborn. Today is Day 1 of my 30 days! So far I've had my coffee with my breakfast and 2 8 oz glasses of water. Maybe this will help me start drinking more water so just in case IF we ever get pregnant again I will not get yelled at during every appointment by my doctor or midwife for not drinking enough and they won't have to put me in the hospital again with an iv of fluids for 8 hours and come out with 10 bruises because it took 3 nurses and 8 iv sticks to get a iv going in the dehydrated pregnant woman.. NOT FUN. So wish me luck! and if you have any drinking water tips feel free to leave them below. :)

iPad love

Okay so in case I've never told you, I am obsessed with my iPad. It goes everywhere I go and I love it because it's bigger than the iPhone and doesn't cost me a monthly data charge from good ole Verizon. Although in October when it's upgrade time (& my 27th *gasp* birthday) I think i'm going to make the swich from my Env to an iphone. But that's another story for another day. So, I thought I would share my TOP 10 favorite iPad Apps... in no particular order.

1. The Bible by YouVersion : This is the best Bible app I have found! They have every translation you could imagine available and they also have daily reading plans that you can use that will send you daily reminders to read your bible.

2. Facebook for iPad : Like 99% of America, I am on FB most of the day. As a SAHM I use this to keep in contact with the outside world ;)

3. Twitter for iPad : My FB is for my friend but my Twitter is for celebrities.. (okay mainly Giuliana Rancic , and Shonda Rhimes )and other bloggers for ideas and to make sure they are not going to kill my McDreamy Thursday night!!!

4. Kobo Books : I was given a Kobo reader by my fabulous Amy so that's why I don't use Amazon, or iBooks. I had already purchased Kobo books on my reader so I just downloaded the app for my iPad.

5. Ellen's Know or Go : Now this app is one of the few that i've paid for the full version! It is hilarious!! The free version is great too but the paid one give you more options.

6. The Sims Freeplay : Do I spend mindless hours on this game making all these tiny people go pee, eat, and work? Yes, I do. Does it drive my husband crazy that sometimes he's ready to go to bed and I say "Hang on let me put my sims to sleep!" Yes. And that's all that needs to be said about that. LOL

7. iPhoto : LOVE this app! I'm not 100% savy with it yet but it does the coolest things to photos. Kinda like instagram but you don't publish them, you just save them. But you can post them on FB or whatever social media site you prefer :)

10. Facetime for iPad : I love to facetime with my besties, or my hubby and Fletch loves it too! (Don't read the source article.... it was written before the ipad 2!)

Thanks YouTube!!

Okay so a few weeks ago I got an itch for a change. Because I am all about some change. One of my favorite hobbies is organizing and cleaning, I have been that way since I got pregnant with FAR. I decided I wanted duel monitors for my desktop. So I approached the husband and told him my reasoning for wanting duel monitors. It will be so easier for me when I start school in the fall that I can have school work on one monitor and facebook school stuff on the other.  He agreed and began researching in his usual way... YouTube videos. He then decides he can do this himself and we won't need any help at all.

Bloomin Onion

Yesterday I was sitting outside letting FAR play and trying to keep my sanity with a teething whiny baby when I get a text from my husband that says "Be ready to leave when I get off" Now if you know me, you know I am a firm believer in Pajamas all day. I love my pajamas. I think it's pointless if i'm not going to change into regular clothes during the day. So 99% of the days I am in my PJs. I do shower, and put on more Pj's just in case you were wondering. Soo I take a shower and shave my legs. Ladies you also know how important this is and when my husband got home he changed and off we went. BY OURSELVES. Do you even know how long it's been since we have gone somewhere just the two of us??!? I can't even begin to tell you when.  So off we go to destination unknown and we end up with this

And we got home in time to do this.

My first Mother's Day weekend

Happy {BELATED} Mother's Day to all the mom's out there!!!  My first Mother's Day was relaxing and low key since we've been sick we postponed all of the festivities until next weekend. So look for a big jazzed up post coming up then ;)
Friday night we did absolutely nothing! We were still feeling kinda blah so we hung out at home. I was doing something in the kitchen and went into my bedroom and this is what I found..

 

 Fletch in my closet .. by this point half the contents of my closet was on the floor. And where was daddy?? 

Please be kind & ignore the hole in my wall.. my heart headed FAR put his head through it!

Saturday I woke up feeling wonderful! So Fletch and I went and watched my niece play Softball. And when did I realize I forgot my camera? When I pulled in the parking lot. So sadly no pics of softball but FAR had a BLAST! He played in the dirt with his cousins and he loved standing by the fence and watching Gali play ball! When we came home we did laundry and waited for daddy. MoMo (Fletch's grandmother, my mom) came over for Lasagna and we gave her and Nanny (RB's Grandmother) This Mother's Day presents (Open Heart Necklaces from Kays) Well we had one more for Fletch's Granny (Rb's Mom) and Fletch was playing with a box in his pack & play and I took it from him thinking it was her's. It said this...

Who was crying like a baby? This guy! I was totally suprised!! (And with me that is hard to do!!)

Then we tried to get  FAR to eat lasagna

 What am I supposed to do with this?

Get me in the bath!

Did he eat a single bite? Nope. Which I am wondering for all the mom's out there: When I was preggo I couldn't get enough spaghetti. And Fletcher will not eat any kind of spaghetti sauce, as I realized last night. Is that normal? Will your kiddo's eat what you craved? 

Mother's Day was church, an amazing nap, and for dinner I got to have blue box! As in Kraft Mac & Cheese! And did I get a picture of me and my guy on Mother's Day? Nope.But I did get one of him :)

Buddy

Buddy was my oldest brothers dog who came to live with my sister in law and nephews after my brother was killed in an car accident 2 years ago. Buddy has always been a very protective dog and has always been protective of his family. Well on Wednesday we spent the day at my sisters house and Fletcher got to play with Buddy for the first time. 

 This was a sleepy tired and hungry Fletch
