No more paid sponsors. Paid sponsors= pressure. Pressure to make sure blog posts are written, giveaways are maintained, and sponsor stuff is written. Right now I cannot handle it. Maybe after the first of the year, but we'll see. But I am always open to swapping ;)
The other day I came to a realization that I was trying to get everything done on a schedule. Make sure FAR is taken care of. Make sure school work is done. Make sure the kitchen is spotless before bed. I was forgetting the biggest part of my agenda.
Playtime. I've been trying to make sure everything gets done, but I've forgotten to sit down and play with my little guy. So last night I went to bed with dishes in the sink, school work that didn't get done, and a full heart from playing and snuggling with the cutest 17 month old in the world.
Will you hear from me tomorrow? Probably not. But I won't abandon my wonderful blog. It's my outlet. I love the fact I have "met" each and every one of you. I have made friendships that are irreplaceable. But for now, i'm right where I need to be.

I completely understand. I don't even have a little one but still feel overwhelmed with all there is to do some days!
Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
I feel ya! Don't leave us though!
I've been feeling that lately, too, and have neglected my blog a lot. Hopefully we can find the balance we strive for, right?!

Hi! It's Jilly
Oh man. You and I need a drink date. Asap. And make that a 5+ drink date. I feel the same way. I'll be taking a break from it all in Jan. I adore blogging, but I also adore breaks. :) I hope you can relax a little ... and then send some of that my way. :)
Oh sch. can't live with them can't live without them! haha loved this post and your honesty :) such a great picture by the way. Life is all about the balance!
i love this, amanda! i totally know what you mean with paid sponsors... there is a BIG expectation when people are paying you to bring in traffic to their blogs. it's hard AND scary! thinking of you!
Amen, sister! I haven't touched my little space on the Internet in close to 2 months. But through that I've taken time for myself, enjoyed quality time with my husband, and felt more inner peace. Blogs are great, but it's all about balance. The relationships in your life shouldn't suffer because of your blog. Have a Merry Christmas!!
