Dear RB: You are the best husband ever! Not just because you gave up you iphone.. but because you gave it to me. Oh and you grilled amazing pork chops for dinner last night. ;) 

Dear FAR: I'm so proud of you, It's only been a week and you are 100% completely off the bottle. I'm so glad our little chat last week worked ;) 

Dear Georgia Weather: Didn't we discuss the my family and my besties going to Stone Mountain Park on Sunday? And your gonna be 102 degrees? Not cool... literally.
Dear Big Lots: Please be reasonable with RB's schedule this coming week. Were pretty busy. So off on Sunday and no working past 4 on Wednesday and Saturday please?? 

Becky: Hurry up and have that baby so I can see photos Puh-leaseee!? 

Dear Saturday: Can you hurry up? I'm ready to have Italian night with my bestie, her family, and my family. Manicotti, Lasagna, Salad OH MY!

A few quick things:
1. This is what I would wear if I could pull it off. I think it's super cute but I have NO STYLE.
2. I would never spend this much on an outfit, especially $390 sunglasses.. my sunglasses come from Walmart. I'm cheep.

Into the Word Wednesday

This past week I read 2 Peter. This was the first time i've read 2 Peter. When I usually read the bible I always go back to my favorite books (Joshua, Proverbs, Esther) That's why I'm loving this reading plan i've been doing with ECC. 


2 Peter 1:2 is one of my favorite verses in the bible. In fact, it's in the bible 5 times. 

"Grace and Peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord"

Grace and Peace. Two things we have an abundance of... and two things we don't deserve.  Well I can't speak for you but I know I don't deserve it. but I am forever eternally grateful for it. 

Dancin for Joy & Versatile Blogger

My brother is a youth leader at his church and every year he throws the coolest VBS's. This year the theme is Pirates and last night we took Fletch to the opening night. He is too young to participate but he had the BEST time singing and dancing before and after all the activities!

2) I love having blonde hair. But every time I've tried to give myself blonde hair it's turned out a disaster. and since we had Fletch I went back natural to save $$. So for now.. i'm brown ;)

3) I will do any household chore except clean out the refrigerator. It grosses me out... So that's RB's job!

4) I've been off of Soda's for over a month now and I lost 13 lbs!!

6) I'm pretty addicted to FB. And my Twitter addiction is getting bad too.

In the Word Wednesday: JOB

Today i'm linking up with Becky at Tales of Beauty for Ashes for In the Word Wednesday. Every morning I wake up and grab my iPad and read my bible before my feet hit the floor. (Fletcher willing) It's just how I start my day. Lately i've been following my church's reading plan and we just got through the book of Job. That Job. Oh how I feel for Job. I tend to think of Job as one of the most popular people in the land. You know the friends you have that you feel like they have it made? Perfect house, perfect job, perfect family... so on and on? I think that's how people felt about Job. I mean he woke up every morning and made a sacrifice for each of his kids. He was the perfect follower of Christ. Then one day the Lord tells Satin to tempt Job. To take it all away. Just don't kill him. And that's what Satan did. Killed his servents, burned his sheep, killed his family. but yet (after tearing off his robe and shaving his head) he said this: 

"Naked I came from my mother's womb, 

and naked I will depart.

The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; 

may the name of the LORD be praised."

HE PRAISED THE LORD! After everything that had happened to him he was still praising Him. Could you do that? If that happened to me I think I would be pretty angry... but not Job. Job gave it all up and gave glory to where it was do. In the middle of a storm. 

I wanna be like Job.

Noah's Ark

One of the activities we did for Fletcher's birthday was a trip to Noah's Ark. Noah's Ark is a Non Profit Org. about 45 minutes away from our house and it's bascally a free zoo. All of the animals there have been injured or abandoned. They have picnic tables where you can have lunch. This was our first trip there but we will be back!! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A Test, A Smartphone, and all of the stuff in between...

Yes, Yes, Yes, I know I know. I haven't posted ALL day. I knew today was gonna be a crazy day and I thought to myself last night I should schedule a post but it didn't happen between the studying and everything else. But we will get to that in a minute.


Yesterday RB's entire fam was over and we grilled steaks for Father's Day. Did I take a single photo? Nope. Anyway, Well his sweet Aunt Kay who I love was talking about how she hated her smart phone and asked me if I wanted to trade. So I am now the proud owner of a Droix x2. It's no iphone but i'm moving on up!! (Tiff- I know you'll be so proud!!) and it was FREE! 

The test. Ohhh buddy. So all the studying i've been doing has been for a test to enter college. If you remember here (which you probably don't because I had 2 followers then) I'm going back to school in the fall. Well today I had to take an entrance exam to be admitted/see if I had to take remedial classes. So let me tell you I STINK at math. Always have and always will. Today on the Math part of the test I had to make at least a 20 to be admitted into my school and I had to make a 36 to test into college level math and not to take a remedial... welll.... 

I MADE A 21! 

So will I have to be in remedial math? Yup. Do I care? Nope. All that matters is that I can go to school in the fall and I will walk in that class with a SMILE on my face. (Just fyi- I tested college level in Reading & Writing) 

Am I oh so happy? YES. You know what makes me even happier? My husband is cooking dinner. 

Ok Ok i'm off my high horse. Tomorrow will be back to normal.. all about the little guy.
