Current Crush Thursday.. the Doghouse

Okay so I was totally set to do my Current Crush Thursday on Dryer sheets and how they are amazing for keeping mosquitoes away (I know i'm lame....) but after the latest events of the night things have changed... I'll start at the beginning. 


ALL day long i've been setting up and tagging and getting ready for the MEGA yard sale i'm having at my house and we got everything put out on tables and everything is ready to go! So after dinner and bath time for FAR my hubby and I got a mini date tonight to Walmart to grocery shop! So excited!! After we got out of Walmart it was windy and lightening and sprinkling. And we thought of all the yard stuff sitting outside ready to go. 

FAIL! 

After we get everything on the covered car port with the help of mom#2 (MIL) and Nanny who were watching Fletch, we sit inside and i sit down to write my blog post and mom#2 bring my ipad into the kitchen. FROM THE FRONT PORCH. SOAKING WET. 

EPIC FAIL!

Sooo needless to say, I am in the doghouse. Which is why I am not blogging about dryer sheets and how they are amazing. I am about to go cuddle up with the husband and try not to get yelled at too bad...

PS- NO PICTURES I know. I'm lame. Have you ever been so exhausted you can't see strait and you don't have any energy to do anything? Yup, that's me. In fact the only reason i'm blogging is because sitting is involved. PPS- the iPad survived!!!!! THANK YOU JESUS!!!!!

Today We headed over to my brother's house to help my lovely sister in law tag her items for the giant yard sale were having this weekend at our house! While we were there Fletch played in the pool with 3 of his cousins (& his daddy)

Things to know about me if were going to be BFF's!

Last week as I was stalking reading everyone in my news feed I came across this post  from Jessica at Bowie to Baltimore and it made me think.... hummm what are things you need to know about me? So here we go! 

I have a fear of rabbits. We all know this, and everyone has fears of different kinds. If you throw stuffed bunnies in my face, or taunt me with them it will make me mad. and it's annoying. 

I am a VERY JEALOUS person. I don't mean to be. It just happens. Not in my marriage but in everyday life. I can't help it, but I am working on it. 

If your a needy, I don't have time for you in my life. Now don't get me wrong, if you need the shirt of my back, it's yours. But if your middle name is drama, or if you call me from the bar almost nightly to come pick you up, your not a true friend. Your a needy. and I don't need you. 

I grew up as the baby in my family. I have 2 older brothers. One is 16 years older than me and he looks out for me from Heaven and the other is 6 years older than me and he takes care of me on Earth, and thanks to them I got 2 amazing sister's too! 

Speaking of those brothers they gave me 6 amazing nieces and nephews! Justin, Jordan, Gali, Ara, Evie and Baby Judah are sooo sweet and they are great cousins to Fletch in their own way. 

I don't just have a sweet tooth, I have sweet teeth! I love Candy, Cupcakes, Frosting, Brownies, and everything in between.

I am a worrier. I worry about everything. From finances to the fact I call my mom at least once a day to make sure she is alive. It's true. I worry about her almost as much as I worry about Fletch.

Friends make me happy. Getting a call or a text from one of my besties totally makes my day. Almost as much as blog comments make my day.... No pressure or anything :) 

My husband hung the moon. Seriously. 

I'm almost OCD... When I say that I mean: I am known as a checkbook natzi. Everything in my checkbook is neat, organized, and up to date. ALWAYS. All the clothes in the closet have a certain spot and are hung a certain way. The same thing in the dresser drawers. And everything has to be clean before I go to bed. And all of this started when I was pregnant.

On Thursday nights at 9pm if you call me, I promise I won't answer. Because I am highly obsessed with Grey's Anatomy.... RIP Little Grey *sniff*

Amazeballs Chocolate Milk

So last night my hubby picked up Pizza on the way home... Ultimate Supreme... yummm. Anyway it gave me some yucky <3burn.. :( So last night I asked him to make me some chocolate milk because his chocolate milk is seriously amazing. We always have Hershey's syrup on hand, that started when I was preggo and chocolate milk was only thing that would cure my <3burn. And this is my finished product :) 

Oh my yummy! It was like a chocolate milkshake without the yucky brain freeze. I'm so thankful I married a man who loves my unconditionally..... and can make a mean glass of chocolate milk.

Current Crush Thursday

Now if you know me I am NOT a healthy eater. I mean i'm trying to be better but my 4 food groups are Candy, Candy Cains, Candy Corn, & Syrup. (TY Buddy the Elf) But seriously. I loveeee sweets and the best part....

Turtle

So night before last I was in my kitchen doing dishes and watching Giuliana & Bill when RB yells at me to come to the bathroom while he's giving FAR a bath and the conversation goes a little something like this: 

RB: Look what Fletch found

ME: What? 

RB: Look.... 

Me: Oh my Lord. He found his turtle. Make him stop.

RB: Why?? 

Me: He does not need to play with that. Fletch stop baby! 

Fletch: Looks up at me and gives me THE grin. 

(All you momma's know what I'm talking about)

Me: Randell, seriously make him stop. 

RB: Hysterical laughing

I then call my Amy and tell her that Fletch found his Turtle in the bathtub. More hysterical laughing follows. Speaking of bathtime, thought i'd share a few cute bath pics from over the almost year *tear*

Growing up

I drank punch yesterday. and about 85 glasses of sweet tea. and if you read THIS you know that is a big nono right now. But it was just staring at me and I couldn't resist. But today is a new day, and I only drank 2 glasses of tea with my supper. That's an improvement. Okay now that we've gotten the ugly stuff out of the way let's talk about FAR. He's growing up so fast! He's now doing his own laundry.
